Just a quick update.
Today is a very special day.
I now weigh 214 pounds! So, I have made our initial set goal of 120 pounds in 8 months without surgery!!! I’m down from 335 on Jan. 9, 2012!
Dr. O, thank you so much for all you have done to help me realize a dream. Your care and support and medical treatment have made it possible for me to change my life for the better. I have become a different person in the eyes of others and I have proven to myself that I can control my eating and weight. I feel wonderful.
Oh! and I had lunch with a friend this last week who hadn’t seen me since November. He didn’t recognize me till I was within 5 feet and he was amazed. It felt great. Also someone saw me today whom I haven’t seen in eleven months and she was AMAZED. Have a great weekend.
I also wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your encouragement throughout the process. It has made me feel better about myself and not to mention I feel like I’m in my twenties again.
